Semi Permanent Housing For Wasior

Flash floods that occurred in Wasior, Wondama Bay, West Irian on 4 October 2010, has resulted in tremendous losses of the residents. Losses ranging from homes and buildings, agricultural area,environment, people were injured and high casualties.
Rado was one of the villages in the districts of Wasiorwhich has experienced the most severe losses. Emergency Team of MDS Record casualties (killed and missing) a total population of 52 soulswere as the total population of Rado was 540 from 139 households families. While the number of dead and missing for the entire Wasior was 288. Almost all houses in the area collapsed. Rice fields and irrigation networks were also not spared from the brunt of floods so that agricultural activities in Rado paralyzed. For a very long time, it was because buried in the sand, rocks and trees that came from the direction of the mountain.
